A memory I have is the simulation at the Center for Civil and Human Rights. It was a simulation that allows you to hear and feel what it was like to be at the lunch counter during the sit-ins. It was chilling as you were able to feel the kicks of the chairs and the whispers in you ear, it was like they were right next to you. I could almost feel the breath down my neck. It was so memorable because you only hear how it was for them and what they went through but being able to feel it changed my perspective.
